Seems like an active blog technology – PostNuke – wonder if it is good.

200mW WIFI cards

Hey Rich and Adrian, this does not seem like a good development – [SMC Networks   About SMC   Press Releases](http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?action=media_center_press_release&PR_ID=103 “SMC Networks   About SMC   Press Releases”) – aren’t interference problems going to be even worse with these around?

Movable Type conversion

02 April 2003

Finally moving to movabletype.org. The loss of my Haloscan comments pushed me over the edge tho I had wanted to move for a while.

A real pain to get it working on Win2k/IIS. The default settings of URLSCAN are broken with MT. and the default security settings of IIS are not so great either. A lot of dorking around to get IIS and MT to coexist nicely – as you can tell by my lack of posts for a week or so.

I’ll be bringing old posts over slowly as I put some category tags and do other cleanup on them. And then I need to integrate my blogroll, playlist, and other features from my blogger blog.

Takes me back to my first days with computers – Creative Computing magazine, the TI 99/4 (what a dog), my Apple ][+, the original Mac, Byte magazine, software in ziplock bags, the MicroCenter on Lane Avenue in Columbus, the S-100 bus, the Rockwell AIM, Orange Micro, Beagle Brothers Software, … Man computers were fun then. Still are of course.
